Privacy policy

What this website collects, why, and what happens to it. Last reviewed add date.

This page describes how maedx.org handles personal information. It is written to describe what the site actually does. If you change how the site works — adding analytics, an email platform, or a payment provider — this page needs to change with it.

What is collected

The only information this site asks for is what you type into a contact or workshop-request form: your name, your email address, optionally your organisation, and your message.

The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads.

How it is used

Form submissions are used to reply to you and to keep track of the conversation that follows. They are not sold, rented or shared for marketing, and you will not be added to a mailing list unless you ask to be.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Name your form handler and email provider here — for example, submissions are delivered by email and stored in that mailbox. Enquiries are kept while they are relevant and deleted when they are not.

Your rights

You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@maedx.org and it will be dealt with.

Hosting and third parties

Name your hosting provider. Server logs kept by the host may include IP addresses as a normal part of running a website.
